Default plugged cd player in, turns on... no sound ???

OK, I've got a 00 civic si and my cars been down for awhile. So I got it going again and now I plugged my oem cd player in (I put in the code) and it turns on and seem like its working fine except for no sound? I messed around with the balance, fade, bass, treble, and volume but I still get nothing. Any Ideas what to check?
By the way, it's all factory speakers and none of the wires are cut that I know of. The sound and cd player worked fine before. I would think at least if anything the little tweeters would make some noise????
Thanks guys !

Sounds like your speakers aren't getting a signal. Meaning, the speaker wires aren't hooked up correctly.

Yea man I dunno , its weird. It's a stock oem cd player, I looked and the wires are all in tact and no amp so that crosses that out. Grrrr I'll prolly roll up to Honda tommorow and just ask one of the techs.
