Smile Peekaboo

Hey Guys, Sorry about being MIA for a while.

Anywho, I spoke to some of you at the Tr Show and Shine about replacing my headunit. I've had mine for a few years now and it's getting tempermental on me. Since the tax refund check will be coming soon I was wondering if anyone knew of a slightly used headunits (or new) for sale. I'm looking for something under $150, yeah I know it's not much. I was hoping to find something on tr before heading out to the shops.

Thanks for the help.

Any particular specs/features you want? I got my Pioneer brand new for like $125 I believe. Gives pretty damn clear sound even with the stock speakers. XM ready, remote, etc.

Hey thanks, that sounds like a good start.

HHMM, I'd like tostay with at least a 40x4
-a detachable face
-at least 12 fm presets
-soft buttons that won't get broken off
-remote is a plus

What is the model number, maybe I can look up the specs online. Have you installed it in your car ever?

plenty of presets

I just intalled it in my explorer. Only problem I had was I didn't know I have a separate amp in the rear for my rear speakers.

Hey thanks for the ideas and site suggestions. I took a look at the Miscellaneous for sale forum in Tr and unfortunately didn't find anything that interested me. I looked at the Pioneer headunit that Ryde or Die suggested and it looked real nice and is withing my price range.
Right now, I am gonna try out my bf's Kenwood that he was gonna use in his Mustang. I'll see how I like it for a while. If not then I'll probably just go ahead and order that pioneer one online and be done with it. Just have to wait for that darn Tax return.
