Default another door amp question

got another question. im gettin my door amp 2morrow. its a 2 channel bazooka. i know its not the greatest but will do the trick. will be about 85 watts to each speaker after dividing the power already, so im pretty much set. now i know im gonna need to run another power cable to the battery but me and my friend are wondering where is the remote from the amp going to connect to? is there some sort of splitter or something? i have a pioneer 6500 headunit. thanks guys for all ur help.

I'm not familiar with your setup. Is this your only external amp(not in the HU)? If not you can just get a distribution block and not run another power cable to the battery.

Just splice the remote into the other one. There's so little current running through those it doesn't make a difference. As far as your power wire goes, it would be ideal to run one thick guage wire from the battery back to your 2 amps where a distrobution block divides it into 2 smaller guage wires which would run directly to each amp.

its ok, i figured out how to do the remote im using tbsspyders idea just with a slight modifitication. im fine on everything else. as far as the power wire goes, where can i find this distribution block at? cause it might save me some money, how much is it ? plus itd be alot easier then having to run it through the whole car again. i got a pretty thick guage wire running to my amp right now i think i should be fine. thanks guys.

Any audio shop will carry distrobution blocks, your cheapest bet, ofcourse, though is online...try places like www.sounddomain.com. Should be able to pick one up for $10-$20...it just looks alot cleaner and more professional then using multiple wires.

all went well, took forever to do my buddies car but took maybe less than 2 hours to do my car. which was odd, we expected the civic to be much easier but we kept unhookin rehookin blah blah blah. at least it all works and sounds amazing. so loud. i just think i need to upgrade my rear 6x9's cause if i turn it up to much, the rear start to sound little off. their shitty Profile's but they were free hopefully will get another set of polks. thanks everyone for ur help. peace.
