alright im going to be buying a Resonant Engineering XXX today (if there open) and cant decide if i want a 15 or a 12. Right now i have a 99 escort zx2 but am going to be getting a explorer in like 3 months.

what would you get?

 

also the max height for a box i can have is 16.5

yea there spose to be backordered till january. Im getting it for my birthday and thats on the 18th so i got some time just wanted to order them now.

Any other reason for getting a 12 as i dont need any space in my trunk.

well just called and asked backordered till the 15th . And i just have to cock the sub 20 degrees so it wont split the mdf

 

Sounds like you have enough space for either...guess it depends on just how much and what kind of bass you want.

 

I guess I would go with 15s.. Imena, move more air, RE is a solid company and doesnt fuck aorund (assuming) low inductance, there shoudlnt be too much fo a problem with the 15 v 12 argument.. sinc cargo space isnt an issue, 15s ported and BOOM the fuck out of it

 

15s are deeper bass but 12s need less power and produce good mid bass, if your getting a SUV definately go 15 then you can expand to more 15s after you get it
