Question Sub Box

My friend has a 98 Mustang Gt, With two tens in a sealed box in the trunk. He wants more power basically, I was wandering is there a better setup for a trunk, or is it that he needs better subs, and amplifier or just upgrade to 12s. I know every once and awhile someone asks the same basic question which is better sealed, ported , or bandpass. Well for the specific application any help would be aprreciated.

IMHO he needs some way to get that bass fomr the trunk to the passenger area. remove the rear speakers and give a listen first. he should notice a decent indrease
and he could build a ported box for the 10s as well, but the mustnag trunk was designed for one thing, mounting the spoiler on, and might not be enough room to build a ported box and keep any cargo area
