Default new kicker comp vr's

whats everyones take on them? my friend has a 4-runner with 2 of the brand new comp vr 15s in a fiberglass box and like 1800 watts to em, and it was just amazing bass..my eyes were itching. lol. they seem to be pretty resonably priced also, like $150 for 2 12s or $200 for 2 15s. what kind of box do they go in? sealed/ported, how much space should the box have?

though for me, you'd have to change it to 10 inches, and you'd have to change inches to millimeters, and you'd have to change 10 to 5 and you'd have to change dick to poor excuse for one.

i kno someone who had 3 of em in a sealed enclosure giving them each 300 watts and it slammed. They are really good subs for the price IMO. You can get em dirt cheap off ebay. Im pretty sure anything that is kicker is going to be good

I have a Kicker comp vr 8 with about 220 watts on each voice coil. I built a custom enclosure behind the seat of my 350z, and it ports out into the trunk space.

It absolutely SLAMS for only being an 8...everyone that has heard it thinks it's a 10 or 12"!

Kicker probably has the most boom for the buck. If you can afford to step up go with some Solobaric L7's. They will really blow your mind.
