Audiobahn kills babies
Dirty means "sloppy"...aka not tight. IMO, alot depends on the enclosure and amp you're using with it though. I've heard Audiobahn setups that sound like shit and I've heard some that would blow your mind. Usually you get what you pay for, but I think Audiobahn's higher end stuff is hard to beat for the dollar. Ofcourse, if you're an SQ fanatic, Audiobahn isn't a contendar...and I don't think it was ever meant to be.

yes i am a big sq person. I cant stand dirty sloppy untight bass. dont get me wrong i love deep deep bass, but id take SQ over SPL if i had a choice. I jus wanna get the mythical "SQL" setup

To me, SQ is "realistic" music. Music where you hear all the details, every instrument, and every frequency meant to be heard. As if you were in the recording studio when it was performed. Any large amount of bass isn't too realistic, so I think SQL is somewhat impossible...you gotta give up one to go with the other.

When I think of SQL I don't think of 170db subs. But more like having the "SQ" accuracy but with the output to make me feel as if I'm there at the show i.e. my pants leg vibrating from the kick drum and feeling the bass guitar rhythm in my chest and blinking every time I hear a picollo snare. Unfortunately some "SQ" equipment just doesn't have the ability to do that.
