The stock speakers in my dsm are the worst EVAR! They're rated at like 15w according to the little ink numbers on the back of them. Unfortunately the front two are blown from the time I unwisely turned the volume up past 1/4. Sadly, that was the first time I had turned on the head unit I installed in the car.

mine sound decent..producing correct sound
for about 3 minutes and @ low volumes.. then they warm up and all hell breaks loose
