Default DD audio PwnZ you... PwnZ you all!

2000 Series Subs ... their cheapest, most economical subs

3500 Series Subs , Theyre a step up from the 2000's and a little more bad ass, you can see the obvious DVC terminals that the 2000's dont have

9100 Series Subs is where things start to get good. this is where they start getting serious... and non-cheap.

9500 Series Subs is where you can go to get Straight up competition subs to run on the street. the prices are gettin real serious here.

9900 Series Subs is where you will turn your insides into goo. These are where its at... if you can afford it, DO EET. ever hear of QUAD VOICE COILS?!?!

My friend who ran his own Stereo shop chose DD subs over MMATS, PPI, and all the rest... he ran 4 9100 12's in the back of his 2001 Jimmy. but this was down in Naples, he sort of got out of it all and started doing Jet ski's full time; racing and running a jet ski shop... he just moved out to Lake Havasu, AZ and opend up a marina/boat rental... ever watch Girls Gone Wild... they filmed it during Spring break at Lake Havasu. but thats all beside the point. A few years ago, DD audio built the MMATS subs, when MMATS held a world record. DD audio is Industrial strength equipment, for the consumer. They build the Sound systems that they use in Movie theaters and what not. and the put all that tech and R&D into their car audio. I would love to run some in my car.... just have to find a place to buy dem.

I forgot to add, DD Audio will upgrade/rebuild your speakers as time goes on. so if they come out w/ a speaker that has better parts on it than the one you bought a few months ago, talk to them and they will install the new parts on your old subs.

I also found out they use Carbonfiber/Fiberglass to produce their Dust caps... and Im not sure if you all know this, but Dust caps arent there to keep dust off the speaker, they are there to help reinforce the cone of the speaker to keep it from flexing during high SPL. when's the last time you saw a speaker w/ Carbonfiber in it?!

The cones that those Carbon fiber dust caps reinforce are made of 25% Kevlar... would that make them 25% bullet proof??

more than you might think... dragster makes a carbon fiber comp set, dls has a kevlar sandwich cone (with a honeycomb layer inbetween like an indy car! woo!) image dynamics mids have carbon fiber cones... it's everywhere these days. like vd.

sure no problem negra, let me dig it up...brb

EDIT:

Suspension: 75mm
Top plate: 8mm
Xmax above/Below: 17mm

total winding length: 17+17+8=42mm

DD says that its capable of over 3" of usable, continuous excursion.
