How to Clean the MAF?
What is the best thing to use to clean of the MAF? Anyone done this before? This may be the source of my problem right now and need to clean it up.
got to pep boys and get some MAF cleaner. CRC sells a cleaner to spray right on the MAF to cleaner. pep boys was the only place i could get it. i have a can that i only used once that you can have if you pick it up.

i am not sure how often, but if you use a k&n drop in like i do, it is recommended every 20,000 or so to clean off any oil that can build up on the maf from the oil in the filter, along with any other pollen or granules that make it through the filter. i am going to do it more often now that i have a bigger turbo setup.
Another method would be non-chlorinated brake cleaner (very important or the plastic will literally disintegrate), spray some into a plastic baggie, toss in the MAF, and swish it around.
