you can do it your self. there is some type of liquid you can use that helps it seat better im not shure what its called.

laping compound. it can be purchased at any auto part store. know what your doing and looking for when laping valves or you can do more harm than good.

you can do it yourself. its called valve grinding compound. to make sure the valves are sealing have the head on a flat suface with combustion chambers facing up. also have spark plugs installed. lap the new or used valves in. then clean up the exess compound. seat all the valves. fill the combustion chamber with water. let sit for 5 min. If NO water is leaking past the valves your straight. just keep on re-lapping the valves untill no water seeps by the valves. BUT, If you are installing aftermaket valves it is worth paying for a 3 angle valve job. $200-$250 at modern performance in largo, he does a really good job.
a three angle valve job cuts the valve seat in three different locations for better flow.
