Angry Frustration

All I can say is I am thoroughly frustrated with this car. Looks like I'll be purchasing a beater of some sort and parking the car uninsured in my driveway under a car cover. I like the car, but I can't afford to rent cars and constantly throw money into this thing as a daily driver.

Needless to say I am a bit sore about the entire decision to purchase this car. Trying to keep a level head about the whole thing since I sort of knew what I was getting into. Then again I'm almost thinking perhaps I should just cut my losses and sell it. I have made a few stupid automotive decisions in my life, and this has to be the absolute worst as far as damage to my finances. Should have just kept the fucking Focus.

Old cars suck like that. Bandwagon or not, it's always a good thing to get a popular model. That way, when it breaks down, everyone has parts.

Nada on the fuel line. Looked in every 4cyl Mustang they had and they were all different and unusable. I did bank on the 240 parts though. They had 2 there and I pillaged them both.

No we never did find that rail. Craig is going to run it over to SecretServices tomorrow to see if they can weld on a new bung or something.

I expected a few things to go wrong, but this whole thing is just snowballing. Fix one thing, something else breaks. I'd like the car alot more if I didn't have to be so paranoid about what is burning under the hood, what the hell is dripping on the driveway now, and what is that odd smell? Its just rediculous. This would be alot easier to swallow if I weren't trusting this thing as my daily driver.

Well my day/week just got better. Found a fuel rail, it should be here tomorrow. Found a potential buyer for the Pectel. My next decision will be should I use the $1200 to fix the SVO, or use it towards the purchase of a daily driver/beater.

How are 240's for daily drivers? I want something "cool" yet practical as a daily beater. Autotragic transmission is a must.
