Default 540 big block

hey i new to the whole chevy thing but i just got a bare big block and its a 540cib wheres the best place to get parts for it and what would be a good car to put it in

Online there is Summitt and Jegs. Locally in Pinellas County, Gearhead performance in Dunedin or A.E. on Ulmerton and US19. I'm not sure whats in Tampa.

As far as what vehicle to put it in, I would only put it in a GM vehicle. That choice is up to you as what you like best. I like early models, like Carmaros, Chevelles, Monte Carlos, Impalas, ya know, big ole sleds. Some people like later model GM's to build. It's up to you.

out of personal experience Speed World on haines road has surpassed all of the local parts dealers.

my personal suggestion would be either a 69 camaro or a chevelle but with that monster in anythying apperence goes out the window because people wont be able to get past the motor
