Default No wonder I was getting bad shifts!

My Camaro has been out of commission due to the shift linkage being bound up, so I figured I'd jack it up yesterday and fix it up. The cotter pin on the 1-2 linkage totally snapped, who knows when, and the barrel finally fell into the other linkage, totally locking it up. Guess that explains my missed 1-2 shifts, huh? So I figured I'd disassemble the whole linkage and put it back together nice. There were so many loose bolts, it wasn't even funny. While I was under there, I figured I'd adjust my clutch too, since the friction zone was ALL the way at the top of the pedal travel. After that I fabricated a stopper out of paper (I know, ghetto), to keep the pedal travel to a minimum. All I gotta say now is DAMN. My car shifts and clutches better than my buddy's Acura. I actually stalled it in my driveway it was such a difference. I'm in love with the old SS all over again

Next weekend I think I'm gonna tighten and lockwasher the headers, since they keep coming loose, and then it'll be stink-free. I totally smelled like exhaust after driving around all day yesterday.
