Got the Buick back from my ex!
I was quite sad when my wife left me.
Afterall, she had the Buick.
But it's been giving her problems, wouldn't start without jumping it, even though she was TOLD what to do about it. She just thought it'd fix itself I guess. That's how it worked when she lived here...she'd bitch about something, and it just fixed itself.
So she bought a newer car, and gave me the Buick back, paid her for the gas in it, and enough to re-issue the title. It sure was nice cruising down I-75 at 85 mph in the ol' Buick. I backed off though, because I DID pay for the gas, except I don't know how much I'll be driving it before long.
Think it's gonna go in the garage, I'll probably pull the carburetor, get a few things fixed that were broken before, clean it up, sand down the rust spots, etc.
At least now I can work on it without worrying about it working the next day, or the next week. Just have to run it occasionally to keep it fresh. Just won't be driving it regularly, with the price of gas being up like it is.

I fear no 455. With the 300-350hp 327 I had in my SS, I ran a Buick Riviera with an aluminum head 455. The guy was confused as fuck when I told him I only had an iron head 327 under the hood. People seriously underestimate gearing.
Actually I remember the old Buick Wildcats used Olds 455.I had a Rocket 455 in my 69 Olds..
Sorry to hear about the wife situation.. I remember I met her once.
Im glad to say I dont have wife problems, dont get married and you wont have any

Good luck with everything man!
Good luck with everything man!
You mustn't like Grand Nationals, if you wanted my ex to drive one.
So far she has rearended a truck, slid around a turn into the curb, hit a pole at a drive-in, and rearended a car.
Oh and she finally signed over the title today, after taking the rest of her stuff out of the garage.
Kudos to my girlfriend who came over and spent a day with me going through the boxes in the garage, rather than going out to a movie or something much more fun. She's a very special person
