51 ford shoebox options
i have a coworker who just bought a 51 ford shoebox, great condition for how old it is
he would like to know what kind of suspension options he has, im going to get him to register, but until then i am asking for him
and will a ford 9 in fit and bolt up without too much modification, and does anyone have a C4 they are looking to get rid of in good condition
he just wants a cruiser, not a race car
thanks

I'm sure there will be the typical Mustang2 front end conversions for those. They do them for everything else (including the old Ford trucks).
Not sure about the 9". Here's my advice. Find the wheels he wants to use first, and find out what offset's are available. He may be able to fit a 9" in there, but if it requires some funky offset that's not common he's screwed. Find the wheels, then measure from wheel to wheel to get your axle length and see if a 9" will fit or if he'll need to get it cut down.
