400SBC 509 Casting High Nickel Bare Block
Chevy 400 Small Bare Block 509 Casting High Nickel Bare Block For Sale:
Casting Number: 3951509 With Casting 010 020 casting under timing cover.
Most desirable of the 400SBC
Bare Block (No Crank, Rods, Pistons, Freeze Plugs, Cam Bearings, Etc)
2 Bolt Main with main caps (Typically upgraded to splayed 4 bolt mains)
Bored .30 Over (Still needs final hone for pistons)
One New Sleeve
Machine Work was done in 2005. Engine has been sitting since, never installed.
Cylinders have had grease inside them since 2005. (Would take the block out every once in a while and re-apply grease) No rust present in cylinder walls.
Block has been sitting in a closed cabinet for the last 9 years.
