2000 Civic SI: Proven Power 304SS 3" downpipe and dumptube

This customer recently changed turbo manifolds. The old downpipe was on his log manifold setup and was temp modified for the new exhaust manifold.

NEEDS MORE FILLER !!!



So to begin i needed to make a tight radius bend to clear the radiator here





tacked together



Confirmed there was plenty of room for ALL the bolts to fit easily



Then finish welded everything



Then added a small section and a bend to go under the pan





Then some more piping flex pipe and wideband o2 bung








After the flex i took a step back to check how close things were lining up.... looking good !



The car came in with a 3" exhaust that needed to be modified for the new downpipe so i removed the mid section and cut off the 3 bolt flange and rewelded a matching 2 bolt.







When finished we went ahead and heat wrapped the downpipe to cut down on underhood temps

After completing the downpipe we went on with dumptube. I cut up some bends and came up with this !









All complete with gate peeking through front ! Charge pipe/catch can fabrication coming soon ?????

Awesome night doing the install and the fitment/quality is unsurpassed. Hope for both charge pipe and breather soon, but i have this weird feeling i will have a lightened chromoly flywheel and clutch job done before that;-P. Seriously tho, AWESOME job! thanks.

What do you mean "wow" those welds on the old DP (lol) were awesome! kinda looks like somebody threw play-dough at it!
