Honda Accord CB7: Proven Power 304SS 3" custom exhaust & race header repair
This time around we were asked to fab an exhaust for a CB7 Accord. This customer has come to us for work in the past and now his project is really starting to come together! This is BY FAR now one of the cleanest CB7s in town !!
Lets start off with the sweetness we need to remove... The owner was in tears taking off the old header/exhaust
bay before
How low can you go header dents
one amazing angle cut for optimum jdm flow !
chewed up leaky flex pipe
resonators
old muffler
old hanger
and yes !!! every car needs one the almost WORLD FAMOUS add on hanger ...
So it begins... The customer brought us a lightly used race header that needed repair
I cut where the weld was cracking and simply added some 2.5" piping and flanged the header for easy future removal
Then expanded to 3" and made a new bend section to get us back closer to the middle of the chassis
Weld pic !!!!
Then reinstalled the header and "s" bend section and added some piping
mid section
Then welded a 90 deg bend to make the way around the tank
Then another bend and a flange to end this section
We were asked to use a 3" Apexi WS2 for the muffler
Axleback all complete
New engine bay pic after our work !
Thanks for choosing...
