I don't see how anyone can call that an Evo when the engine build went as far as machining a new entire block out of chunck of aluminum.

After reading the first link something just looks fishy to me. First the MMC (banned in F1) rod picture he posted is quite obviously not made for automotive crankshafts. That one would require a built up crankshaft because the rod end isn't separateable.

Also they watermaked that picture even though it's easy enough to find the original?

This is strait bonkers. Seriously, You dont see ANYONE doing these things to motors. THis is damn ground breaking. Imagine if a supra shop with some cash and this knowhow/equipment did this to a 2j. We would likely see 3000rwhp... maybe more.

this guy has no clue, people make billet block boosted turbo engines every day if youre around the right cars.
