K&N... meh, I only use HAMP. I get that shit shipped over from Japan in bulk lol

The K&Ns are nice, but so damn pricey...and I agree with the "you dont need the nut on the end if you hand tighten it anyways," though yes it does work better than the cups.
Just another reason to switch to a cartridge filter.

I had a difficult filter that I ended up crushing like a soda can with one of those regular filter wrenches. I ended up using one of these chain vice grips that I picked up at autozone for 20 bucks, just clamped it tight near the base of the filter and spun it free,

I always over tighten it when I hand tighten, still requires a "special tool" to take off cause I'm such a klutz.
