This is a thread about drifting.
i started off in fwd and stayed with that for a while. when i was about 15 my big brother introduced me to drifting. i had a 86 hatch and fixed it up eventually giving it to my brother cause i wasnt intersted at the time. now 5 years later i moved down to florida and bought my first 240 which is now owned by ronnie.have had 3-4 others that i had for a short time but now i have mine and its actually down right now getting a swap so yay.see you guys in a couple months.oh yeah drifitng thats what this is about ive done it a few times i guess..

looks like fl's drift scene has grown a bit, cool to see others out there at events. cant wait to bring the whip down with the new heart and start getting some seat time in.
jon, u thought about rollin down with me and john when we come back to fl?

well i first started hearing about it when i was in 7th grade, i was getting into imports like crazy thanks to the original Gran Turismo. my friend then started telling me that he had gotten this old manga and told me about these cars racing on the japanese mountains. he brought it in, let me borrow it and i got hooked. i started looking the cars up and in the process i found out what drifting was and started looking up option videos. then on i found what i love. i saw xat's site for the first time maybe 3 or 4 years back and saw they had a corolla for sale. just then i had seen Mikes wagon in the pics(mranlet) and thought wait a sec thats awd subaru, that can't drift, why does it say slide or die on it? lol well anyways i got a reality check and saw mike drifting his wagon into the tampa lanes parking lot rolling in with marks old baller hachi. i started talking to them alot, found out that mike lived 4 houses down from me and he then brought me along to a DG event. I started hanging out at Xat thanks to Casey, learning a shit ton thanks to mostly Mike and Mark. i got a cressida that i tried to build up but due to the problems it had i needed a car fast so i got this:
ive been sliding around everyonce in a while but its super hard on open diff. i havent had to change anything yet, and im going to have my diff welded before the next desoto event on the 26th and see how i do
