I saw that SC'd TA tonight and decided to run him again before the nitrous just to see where I currently stand.. The first run we decided we will go on his move.. Silly me giving a car that has 85rwhp more than me the move.. Actually more than that with my cutout closed.. Anyway, he gets a killer launch and I spin thru first secondary to flooring it out of desperation.. The SC'd TA beat me by 3 to 4 cars on that run... The next run the SC'd TA gave me the move.. I got a good start, but missed 3rd and went into 5th.. So I shut her down.. I was out in front by like 2 to 3 cars when this happened. The next run I was dead on and the SC'd TA said he missed a gear. The next 2 runs we both kept missing gears and decided to chill. We never got a chance to run again, because of some negative activity.. Personally I think I did good.. We will run again b4 I spray. Hopefully next time we both will not miss gears so we can get a good comparison.. The lesson I learned tonight was not to give a car with more horsepower the move..

You guys disappeared after the show.,.. The night started out boring until I finally found a spot. I am getting most of my runs out of the way NA for now..

 

You never pulled on that S/C'd TA once???? That is a race I definately wanna see. You must of got that one on the way to the "spot". Sucks you guys missed some gears. Well maybe next Saturday.

 

It's kind of hard to pull a car that makes more horsepower than you.. I was also trying to practice powershifting and it does not work well with sandals on.. On all the runs I was given the move I was holding him off until I had shifting problem.. On one run I was dead on, but the SC'd TA said he missed a shift.. After that I/we both was missing gears or going into the wrong gear.. I think I will practice powershifting on my free time instead of during a race..
