Do you need an O2 sensor spacer for an aftermarket down pipe?????????????????

you shouldnt.... i ran a 3" downpipe on my 1.8t GTI for years and never had a spacer on it nor did i ever have a check engine light.

no i didnt...

the setup was a 3" downpipe into a cat-less 3" all the way back.


side note i was also running APR stage 3+ software so it may account for the o2 readings being off... not 100% sure on this one.

Yea... I heard if its stage 2+ then you don't have to worry about O2 sensors.....

Well since I don't have the extra $500 or so for the tune at the moment, Does anyone have an O2 sensor spacer?????? Or know where I could get one?

Thanks, I will try this on Wed. when I get it..... Also I contacted UROTUNING.Com .... Raced my buddies S4 and drove it, and I wanna have more next time we go messing around...

you can get spark plug spacers at any auto parts store.... discount and advanced have them... i think there like 5 bucks a piece.
