Question Blow off valve on SRT-4

Hey all, Old man here so be gentle. Still learning about turbos and such, know enough to be dangerous is all. I just purchased an 04 SRT-4 that has an AEM cold air intake and BLowoff valve, as well as a larger intercooler. My question is that I am getting this stupid turkey gobble sound sorry the best way I can describe it at throttle tip off and it is driving me nuts! Boost seems to stop at around 12lbs. The valve has a bolt and lockdown nut for adjustment (i assume that's what it's for), any ideas as to what may be wrong if anything or is this the way these sound. My 88 Conquest TSI never made this sound or any of the other Mopar products I've owned or sold back in the 80's. Can ya help an old guy out???? Thanks

Are you sure a vacuum line didn't pop off? You may have a surging sound, If the vacuum line comes off the blow off valve or somewhere along the line it can and will do this.
