tranny problems

Default tranny problems

whats up tr i have a little problem with my tranny b series cable it stays in first gear even when i put it in nutrel and it wont go to 5th or reverse . just wondering if the tranny is junk or maybe the sycros any help would be apreciated thanx?

Make sure you linkage is free of kinks or sharp turns. make sure you dont have the cables on it reversed (i did this once) make sure you clutch fork is not bent. does it go into 5th and reverse when it is off? if not, and your cables are good. then you probley have a bad tranny. but there is a million b trannys out there for cheap.

B-series cable transmissions don't have shifter cables, guy.

Check to make sure the shift linkage bushings and joint are good.
