Issues Mounting SBR Battery Box in Spyder
So I'm relocating my battery to the back. I have the battery box (sealed), cables, fuses, distribution blocks, etc... After stripping the interior and trunk I cannot find a spot flat and large enough for the box. I tried to get it under the top, but the x-brace is in the way, so is the reinforcement behind the back seat. So any ideas before I have someone weld in a metal plate to bolt this too?
the right side is where i mounted mine, just behind the tire well on that little platform.

did you remove the rear plastics? It does not have to be all the way in there to get 3 screws/bolts into that spot and hold it in place.

Quick google search brought this up, I know it's not the same box I sold you but it looks about the same size if not larger than the SBR version, not sure if that's a custom mounting though.

Yea, its mounted in the spare tire location. I'd have to make something to hold it. Well I guess tonights an all nighter... I'll post some pics in the morning if I get it done tonight, I have a shit ton to do on the spyder tonight still.
Well, after tracking down all the spliced wires in the dash harness, installing the new fuse box and E-Ecu. The same fucking bs issue..... So this is the is now the least important task....
