got a car with no motor swapped to obd1 came with a p28 i dont know jack squat about obd1 ecus. i want to get eventually a b16 or b20.

cant i get this p28 chipped to run a b16 or someshit i thought i heard of people doing that.

sorry for all my dumb posts i just been out of swaps and shit for a long time i forgot alot of shit over the years. beer and weed are hell on the memory

im tryin to buy a swap i just want to know exactly what i already have so i dont buy shit i dont need

 

Yes, the p28 obd1 ecu can be chipped/tuned.

thanks man, im pretty up to date on most stuff just a little rusty is all. havent done a swap in over 3 years, and the last one before that was at least 5 years before that. so its been a while.

p28 came from a 92-95 civic ex with a d16z6 sohc vtec motor. It can be chipped to run a b16. The guy above (mtber aka John vega) can chip it for you.
