Default Fox Suspension ?'s

I recently purchased an '89 Fox 4 Cyl with only 55K miles on it which I plan on driving until I get my 302 and trans to go in it complete. The suspension on it is SHOT, completely. Is it okay to put suspension from a 5.0 on it with the 4 banger still in it? Or is there even a difference? Any suggestions towards performance suspension or anyone selling used suspension would be much appreciated! Thanks!!

It would just ride high in the front.

Go for it!

You can change all the suspension and leave the stock 4cyl springs in it and there will be no difference in ride height

What kind of performance are youl ooking for? Straight line drag or corner carving performance?

Probably straight line with this build, nothing major this one will be a street car no more then 400 ponies. I've been looking at some KYB suspension, I had a really nice set of KYB AGX adjustable coilovers on KYB struts on a 240SX and I liked them, any thoughts on how good they are for Fox's?

KYB's are on the bottom of straight line performance shocks IMO. I would run them on a daily driver, for a better than stock shock, but not for weight transfer front to back per say.

Okay kewl, then I'll probably go with Eibach or BBK suspension setups seeing as how this car will be a weekend driver. Thanks again for all the advice GNs-r-slow I appreciate it!
