Question A little help...

Recently whenever I give it gas the engine kind of bogs down... at first it's ok, but once I hit a certain point it just bogs down for a lil bit then it kind of picks up again. Any ideas?

what they said, also buy some MAF cleaner and blast that out for good measure. That cured my "run like crap when cold" issue.

Update... took off air filter and put a sock over the maf (ghetto I know) and the car ran perfectly fine... cleaned air filter and tried again... problem returned... bought new air filter same problem... think the maf is just completely bad?

I'm not sure if the sock method can give anyone 100% certainty but having a buddy with a spare MAF to swap should be your next step.

I've been following this thread because my car is acting the same way. Let us know if your MAF is bad when you find out. Swapping a MAF is easy stuff, but if this doesnt work you might look into cleaning the IACV, which can be a bitch (unless you have little hands like that guy on the Burger King commercial, LOL!!)
