So heres the deal. I'm working at Busch Gardens taking pics for them (not with my camera but just saying I'm finally going to have some money coming in). Also, I'm going to be working with my school paper MUCH more this summer and starting in the fall shooting for them full time. I'm going to need to be upgrading soon.

I need to sell my camera. $350!
-D50
-old SB-24 speedlight (good to learn with and get the basics)
-Kit lens - 18-55mm
-Battery and charger
-Probably a few memory cards because I'll be needing CF cards. Includes a 512 high speed and another 2 gig.
-MIIIIIGHT throw in a little bag too

I'm not in a hurry just yet, but if there is REAL SERIOUS INTEREST I can talk to my mom to see if she can loan me the money to get the new camera and I'll be paying her back for a while

and like i said im not in a rush just this minute, i talked to my mom about it and we have to close and put the down payment on the condo we bought in tampa, and then we'll know for sure how much money i'll be able to work with.

How is this camera compared to the D40. Thinking about getting an SLR and this really caught my eye

personally i like it better, and thats not being biased. its older, and has a FEW less features, and a few less MP's, but all in all its the same, and its more compatible with more lenses.
