Need to know BMW parts

My dad asked me about BMW 540i parts (http://www.alloemcarparts.com/specials/bmw-540i-parts.html) and I know nothing about it... Is there a website, or where should i look, for engine specs for bmw....not just engine codes and HP but the nitty gritty like bore and stroke, rod length, crank journal size, the stuff that would be useful when trying to piece together a stroker motor.......any help would be great thanks.
