Woo!Hoo!I just got my first Yamaha ever and boy let me tell you that I'm happier then a fat kid in a candy store.How could I have been so blind not to go with a Yamaha before.All my life I was a die hard Gsxr-1000 fan and swore by them,don't get me wrong there still great bike's in my book,but once you try an R1 its like talking about apples and oranges.Just riding one feels like your Rossi at Gp were as the Gixxer feels like your to far into the bike to get a descend feel for it on the road.All I have to worry about now is how to keep it away from those damn bike thieves.

They each have their strong points.. I wouldn't turn either down if someone was going to give me one.

i think you must be mistaken with someone else. there are NO chicken strips on my tires.

yea i have a race in the front. i lowered the tire pressure a little to make sure my tires heat up a little quicker beins how i have a gp tire in the front. i have my psi to 32/34 and it seems to work out pretty well for me. it was the only front tire they had so i had them mount that one instead of the 2ct because i didnt feel like waiting an extra day. and im 21 in july. so were gonna have to have a tr bday bash yo!

 

its not a gp tire its actually a dot legal race tire....just incase u didnt now...
