They wont fit direct! Going to need a few custom pieces just so the bulb will stay put! As for the balast. You would have to cut and splice the wiring into your original civics harness!

DONT CUT THE WIRES. remove the plugs from the wire that plugs to the bulb you will be able to wire the HID's that way, and if you ever go back to stock, just put the plugs back on.

just an idea

How are you mounting them just out of curiosity?

I can help you out with this if interested.
That is exactly what I installed on my '00 Si back in '06 and it came out perfect!!!

Are you using Casper Shields or another way of mounting them?

Ok, here's what you do. You can either TAP into the current existing harness on your car, OR you can snip the wires and connect it that way. You can also do what the other poster said in the thread and just try to 'butt' connect it to the OEM harness -- but if you dont do it right the connections will fall out.

Get 2 of these:

The you're going to hack it up, if you look at the underside of the mounting plate, you'll see 3 sodered points. Take a dremel, knife, etc and try to cut those points, it should be easy as hell. Then...

Get a tube of this:

Then place the D2R/d2s hid bulb in the center of the plate you just cut out:

Take the EPOXY, and then place it over the back of the mounting plate where the hid bulb mounts to the plate. Make sure to center the bulb and hold it in place for a few minutes after the epoxy is set.

* Make sure to mix your expoxy before you place it into the back of the plate.

-- Now your HID bulbs are done once the epoxy is dry.

Wiring it up is easy. Snip the red and black wire on each ballast. Find your ground on the stock headlight harness (should be black), and the power (should be red/brown or yellow/red, etc) -- there is one wire that will be left out -- this is your high beam, don't connect it -- just let it sit there, tape it up and you're done.

If you come to orlando I'll do it for you for free or a case of something.
