Default CV Joint

I replaced my CV joint and axle assembly on my LS swapped EF hatch. Now when I accelerate it pulls bad to the left (the side I replaced). When I am cruising or have the clutch in rolling the car stays straight. Anyone have any ideas on why it pulls to that direction while accelerating now?

I tried to tighten it to the same depth as the passenger side...I didn't think you could over tighten it since it was a bitch to get off. Would it have ruined anything by overtightening?

Well I just got them torqued to 134 lbs like the haynes manual states and I am going to take it for a spin to see how it drives now. I only replaced one side because only that side was bad...now the car accelerates smoothly and doesn't make any grinding type of sounds. I did this same thing to my friends car when he snapped the joint at the track one night and his drives perfectly fine. Well, I have to take it for a drive now and I will see if the problem is fixed.

It still pulls...I'm thinking that when I had my alignment done that the axle was going bad already so now that I have a good axle in it is actually pushed out of alignment...just sucks because I dropped 60 bucks on the job about 2 months ago and now I have to again.

the axle might be out of balance.

I doubt that because it would probably vibrate then while cruising and accelerating and it doesn't. It drives smooth except it will pull fairly hard to the left while accelerating.
