Thumbs up Idea for a new thread

So with all the talent that is in TR and with the number of people who like to DIY (do it yourself). Why not create a thread that goes step by step on prepping and painting a car, from step 1 to the final step. Also on fixing dents. Just and idea, lets see if there are any takers on creating the thread.

How do you fix dents? I hear people using dry ice and using plungers and stuff.

Makes sense, as I think about it, it would be taking business away from the guys who are in the business of auto body and repair.

some times the car mags run howto sections. sport truck runs one once a year and street trucks does a paint question and answer every month. there is a car mag (dont remember the name, one of those v8 filled mags) that I picked up with a "paint your car for 1200.00" which had a really good step by step, body work too buffing article. I will find out the name of the mag.
