i have a 92 lude 5 sp h23 .when i start it up, it runs for a few minutes untill it warms then the it start going from 2000 rpms to 800 or so for a bout 2 to 3 times and just stall up

anyone know what is going on here or ever had this problem before

does that mean it stalls?



1) do you have any CELs?

2) does the H23 have a FITV (i would try disassembling/cleaning it first, if you have one)

3) if not, try cleaning out the IACV, try a known good IACV if possible...

I don't know much about 4th gens but more than likely its your tps sensor. Its either gone bad or has somehow gotten unset. The tps is the sensor on the backside of the throttle body closest to the firewall. Take a volt meter and it should register at .45 on the meter. I think its the center wire...
