Exclamation Clutch problems

Okay so I'm driving on 275 last week and I go to downshift from 5th to 4th and my clutch stays floored to the ground. At this moment I start to think my clutch blew out. So I get the car home somehow and called my uncle. He said what happened was that I needed more brake fluid in the clutch cylinder reservoir because there was no pressure. So I fill the reservoir to the maximum and pump the clutch. After a few minutes it regains pressure and I am able to shift normally again. Today I get in the car and the clutch loses pressure again. I check the reservoir and it's full, so I pump it for a few minutes and regains some pressure not a whole lot, but while I'm doing this I hear a sqeuaking noise coming from engine everytime I press the clutch. I really don't know what's going on and would like some advice on this. The car is a 2000 Civic Si by the way and it has the S4C tranny and some kind of aftermarket clutch don't know what kind though. Thanks TR.

Well I checked the line tha runs from the clutch master cylinder to the tranny and it looks like it's a little wet around where it enters the tranny. Could this be my problem? Thanks for the advice.

Yeah there's prolly some kinda seal there, just go to a autoparts store tell them where its leakin and see what it calls for to fix it, and when your done fixing it bleed the clutch master cylinder and then u should b good

Just bleed it from the slave cylinder. Just like bleeding your brakes. BEWARE though. DO NOT LOOSEN THE NUT TOO MUCH!!!! ALSO IT WILL SPRAY VERY FAST WHEN YOU PUSH THE CLUTCH IN FROM THE HIGH PRESSURE!!! Might wanna wear some safety glasses. Good luck.

Bad slave cylinder, bad master cylinder.

Does the slave move at all?

Will the master squirt any fluid if you loosen the line slightly at the
master? no=bad master.

yes=bad slave.-Bob

if the slave is wet with fluid its either got a loose line on it or it needs to be replaced......end of story.
