Default If you had 8k $ ...

and wanted to build a badass sleeper.. what would it be ?

im not talking the generic "put a 350 in a fc!!" ...... what kind of crazy stuff can you put together to make a complete sleeper on the streets.. the less money you spend the better.. i know this might be hard for some because they like to own pretty cars .. but forget looks . design something that can perform .

im leanin on the idea of a subaru driveline in a 95 escort gt ..

93-96 Mirage with a 4g63t swap
97-00 Mirage with an Evo 4+ swap
95-99 Eclipse RS/GS with an Evo 8+ swap

The cheapest of all 3 would be the first one.

92ish Miata
Stock LS1 block

Late 80s turbo Caravan w/built tranny (horray dodge) and some mods
Toyota Previa AllTrac S/C with manual swap and some mods
Chevy Sprint turbo and some mods
Plymouth Neon w/SRT4 swap and some mods
Big ol' Buick with an LT1 and some nawz
Civic/Colt/Hyundai Excel with 4G63 swap and some mods
Random turbo Volvo brick wagon and some mods

The list goes on

Actually its far cheaper to drop in a 302 in a Miata I guess...the car has to be modified much more for an LS1

Here my wild thought(and next money wasting endevor)

An all-wheel drive astrovan that your freinds dad flipped that you can get for $200, swapping in a 468 which I already have, and building it as a coumpound turbo-Miller Cycle/modified Atkinson cycle engine with mechanical alcohol and progressive nitro-methane injection.

Yes I am retarted and a bit overly optimistic, but I believe that because of the progressive power delivery and some good luck the drivetrain will hold together with minor modifications.

This is something no one has ever done, but I believe, because of the different loading dynamics of this cycle I can make 1k plus HP without turning over 5000 rpm, and with less-than-exotic parts.

Estimated total cost-4,000 on top of parts I already have. EDIT:Standard crankshaft rotation
