my car is a 93 tsi talon that has a 6 bolt swap in it with a 2g head. the problem is that on the 2g thermo housing there are only 2 places for sensors. on the 1g head there are 3 places for sensors. i need all 3 so i can have ac. what are some suggestions or a fix for this problem?

 

Get a 1g head or thermostat housing?

 

yeah the thermo housing doesnt look like it will bolt up...i have a 1g head i just really dont feel like swapping them out...

 

You may have to...I dont think anyones really had this problem because either they dont care about ac or they already had the 6bolt head on. You wouldnt be able to make the 1g housing fit on the head, its been a long time since ive been around a 2g.

 

nope from the looks of it the 1g thermo housing is to big to fit on the 2g head

 

You dont have room on there too drill and tap in the sensor?

 

looks like ill be swapping heads.

 

what head gasket will i need to put a 93 7bolt head on a 6bolt block?
