Default high output Atlernator alternative for S13SR..

in my Z32 i had duel ELE fans, and a 4 channel and a 2 chnnel (bass) amps.

so far i only put in a 255 and the same bass amp in my 93 w/a BT s13sr and it drains power very quick. i installed a Cap and it has helpped a lot. but im about to put in a set of altima fans and im a bit worried about the draw on it.

any ideas of the mounting mods that will be needed for a NA or TT Z32 alternator? or any 90's+ nissan V6/v8: VQ30/35/40 VH41/45 VK45

thanks for the info guys

dual altima fans arent necessary. You could just go with some 12" puller fans(dual) and they probably be low draw and whatnot. At least that would save you the headache of trying to find a high output alt.

Just thought of something though--theres a place here that will rebuild your alternator to put out alot more amps if you want them to. Dunno how its done, maybe rewinding it differently or whatever they do,but maybe theres a place there that does the same thing?

you could check with wills starters on 49th street, if youre in the st pete area.
they do alot of custom stuff. and are pretty cheap.

thanks, but i like to have the extra cooling since i go to texas alot and with a front mount i think it would be best, i had great cooling with the Maxima twins on the Z32, and the Altima should be just as good.

and im already haveing power issues, so one way or another i will need one.

any one know what the output is of the SR alt?
