yeah, so kyle 88supramkiii wants to know what sort of mods he can do to a 1jz, if he ever gets one. so if you guys have any advice for parts and stuff for me, please do tell.

:lol: Well basically, intake and exhaust. After that, it kinda gets expencive...turbos need replacement if you want more than 14 psi, I think you need a standalone/piggyback as well, alllll sorts of stuff. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head...I havent looked into 1JZs since I last gave up on them for not having the money to get one...
Andy and Psifactor could tell you plenty, they actually have/had a 1JZ. Once Kyle starts coming to the meets, he can ask Andy himself :lol:

the same stuff you do to any car to make power.
Toyota likes to have restrictive ecu's so any major power goals will involve and upgraded ecu or stand alone.
turbos do suck and single manifolds are not easy to come by.

still, a mk3 with a stock 1j swap with bolt on's will run in the 13's. just get it running and go from there.

True story. Andy hit 13.7 with intake and exhaust on his 1JZ.
