5.0 vs 1997 gt

My friend called me saying his buddy from work wanted to race me, i told him to come out saturday, so it went down. He has a 1997 gt with a CAI,exhaust,shifter and i donno what else. Meanwhile i have a "mustang stock" 1987 5.0 and we go from a 15 roll i spin through 1st while pulling hard hit second and by then im like 3 cars ahead bang 3rd and its over :sadwave: .On the way back we go from a 40 roll "like 2500 in 2nd gear" we start even till i get to 3500 and i pull like 4 cars by 4th gear.Not to bad for my first time out in it.

you know that almost stock 97 gt's are ridioculsy slow right? but good kill I guess you got the car? I will see if anyone has some cheap parts for it around if you want
