Default clutch problem

Got a 4000 mile FR king cobra clutch and it already worn out!! what could have caused this? the cable is as loose as it can be so it engages as much as possible but it only has 4000 miles on it wtf is this. there is also alot of clutch dust in the bell housing so i justy dont understand how it wore out so fast. any suggestions could it be a bad flywheel that is unsmooth or somthine causing it too wear out fast?

no i didnt resurface the flywheel (stupid of me) and while i am driving in say third gear and step on it it revs up and i dont go anywhere unless i ease on the gas. then i can smell the clutch burning. it shifts fine its just either like completely worn or its for some reason no engaging all the way. but the clutch cable isnt loose at all, there is no slack in it.

im doin the clutch in my car soon. Im either gonna go with a spec 1 or 2. I have to look at the torque rating on them and if i eventually gonna go on the bottle. i think mars_302 said he has 50k on his spec 1 and hes layin down around 260 to the wheels.

Spec clutches are great, but you will definatley screw up your clutch if you don't resurface the flywheel.

King Cobra is probably the best choice for your car, but just get it installed properly and resurface the flywheel and you won't have any problems.
