Heading to a friends house coming down sr60 and I see this black firebird, So I cruise buy him and let him hear the snail. We fool around a bit (too much traffic to actually go anywhere) until we actually got some room to run. Well we hit it from about a 35mph roll and the dumbass driving the se-r (me) decides to leave it in 3rd gear instead of dropping into second where I would have been in perfect rpms for my powerband. Needless to say he walks me pretty damn good. So I catch back up with him and I told him i want to go again. He's cool about it and says ok. We try again (this time I'm in second gear) and he gets a good hit and jumps in front by about a half a car by the time I get going. i shift into third and the rpms rev fast but car doesn't seem to be going anywhere, shift into forth still not going anywhere so i get out of it hoping not to smoke my clutch anymore than i just did. He slows down and I tell him good run and give him a thumbs up and turn off on my friends street. Damn centerforce piece of shit clutch . Oh well you win some, you lose some, and you beat yourself with your own stupidity sometimes. GOD, Why didn't i downshift the first run ?!?!?!?!? It should have been an easy kill and it turned into a beating.

 

My best self kill was when I meant to spray a SC'd Vette a while back, and didn't open the bottle. Doesn't sound bad right? Well, the noids were armed and all I did was spray a whole lot of extra fuel into the t-body...doh! Yep-I got raped bad. Realizeed what had happened when I stalled at the next stop.

my self kill was over downshifting....lol in the VeeDub, was crusing playin with this Neon on I-75 and he wanted to go, so i hit the downshift, just i would have in the Stang, dropped to 3rd at 75mph....WRONG! hit about 5750rpms, HP peak is at 5200, redline is 6500, go figure, needless to say, i got walked
