My beater beamer vs. LS Integra
On the way to St. Pete today to hang out with a friend and pick up some parts I see a bright green 4door Integra working his way through traffic in my rear view. I'm in my (basically) drift beater 318I. He makes his way next to me and I look over at his car and see a pillar pod with gauges.
I rev match every down shift and engine brake coming up to stop lights, so when he gets up next to me and I rev match second to stop he thinks i'm revving at him. He immediately leans over and says, "Wanna put money on it?" I told him no, that i'm stock and slow. I ask him what mods he has and he says nothing but an intake and 5spd swap. About 5 minutes later he's next to me with no one around and downshifts. He hits it and I hit it a second later and instantly pull a car, ending about 4 cars out by 90.
We went a few more times after that with the same results and he turned off.
I guess I should have said yes to putting money on it.
Turns out, even though this is the slowest car i've ever owned (Though fun), there are significantly slower out there.

For sure! Coming from a v8 domestic owner, I love seeing built up all motor K20s owning up on some v8 cars! But sorry, when you're just running intake, a header, and a catback, you're really not doing much in the way of speed.
I don't even dislike I/H/E cars, I just hate when that's all the owner does THEN brags about power.
I'm bone stock. Stock 1 3/4" crush bent exhaust, stock airbox, everything. At the time I also had a horrible alignment and 4 new wheels, 2 old steelies, a huge box of tools, and a 50lb Holset turbo in the car. I'm also 305lbs. LOL
