I was going to a friends house after picking up my fuel press reg in Clearwater tonight when a black import(Prelude vteclowered w/ a big silver exhaust) approaches me heading East on Courtney Campbell. I was in the right lane minding my own business when he comes flyin by me and notices my car. I said to my fiance Oh boy if this dude tries me I might have to clean out my motor She says ok. Sure enough he slows down and I guess his GF is in the car too. So he nails it about 1.5 to 2 car lengths infront of me at around 60mph. So I said OH YEAH downshifted to 3rd and dropped the hammer. I made up the ground before I hit 80 passed him and shifted into 4th at 100 and shut down. Meanwhile since I havent gotten on the car all week it was a carboned up(pretty funny). So I cruise again. Damn dude wanted more this time traffic was approaching so I was going about 40(my sweet spot) He comes up behind me(he guns it) gets next to me and I dropped into 2nd and I was off. He noticed my fiances head hit the head rest and after I pulled on him again he never passed me for a 3rd time. Its been awhile since I actually ran on the street. I felt my adrenaline flowing after that. That made my night. -Mark

 

Craig No I didnt chirp. Just pulled Hard. I have U/L C/A 275 series tires and a little over 1/2 tank of gas. Plus when I downshift to 2nd it put me right in the beginning of my peak power(5K or so) What kind of engine is in a Lude anyway? -Mark

 

Wonder if there has been any acts of mullet violence on the ricers? I wanna kill em myself. But your right why waste gas on these 15-16 sec cars with R stickers jap writing and yes Im gonna say it FART PIPES! I have one more rev at me Im gonna reach for my gun!
