was on the way home down hwy 98,when i come to the light next to an 02 neon (not srt) with unpainted bodykit and altezzas.......as im waiting for the light to turn green the neon next to me throws a rev through his ebay racing exhaust.....im like yeah buddy....then, i hear the sweet sound of a lumpy cammed v8......i look over and this 81 z28 pulls up next to the neon......he revs.... neon stays quiet.....he revs again and looking straight at me......so, im like....ok, dood has a freakin lumpy soundin v8 with some big ass tires out back and traction bars....a drip of sweat falls by the side of my face.....ah what the hell.....havent ran in awhile ......so as we anxiously wait to see who goes at it first ...the light turns green...the neon with its glorious unpainted body kit takes off, altezzas glarin.....while me and the z28 take off slowly.... he then glances over and gives me the look......so i proceed and nod and double clutch it in first......at this point his torque soon pulls on me about half a car......i gain traction....slam second and put half a car on him.....we pass the neon like its standing still.....as im looking over were neck and neck......i throw 3rd......were stil toe to toe till about the end of 3rd he starts pullin gradually......i throw 4th and he has about 1 1/2 to 2 cars on me......at the end of my 4th i start to reel him in a bit.......but i see brake lights....i pull up next to him.....and gives me the nod with the thumbs up.....i do like wise.....weve slowed down and the ricer flys by us like a cow being slayed for dinner.....we both laughed and went our way.....

cliff notes: 87 si with dohc zc goes up against the lumper....thought was gonna get royaly ass reemed but really didnt get it as bad....stunner in neon does ricer fly by when we were done....this also tells me to gonna lower my air pressures (35 psi) and throw 93 back in and put my timing back (fawkin gas prices)....and if you read this long..... your really bored

 

double clutched 1st gear huh...how do you do that? I need to learn

 

ummm....at a roll in first gear then popping the clutch with gas pressed all the way......wasnt effective anyways as this behemoth had wayy more torque to begin with...........and all i did was spin real bad

........was on a 20 mph roll.....and popped the clutch with the accelerator to the floor.........dunno what else to tell you guys.......maybe it wasnt a double clutch.........
