The SLK 32's are slow... I just wish the owners would realize it some day. Way to smack down that clown! 
(The SLK 43's have alot more to offer, but not worth the 6 digit price tag)

The standard SLKs are slow but the AMG versions aren't too bad.
Below is some info on that AMG car .
These numbers are from a Motor Trend test:
0-60 in 4.62sec, 1/4 mile in 13.06sec@108.74mph.
Curb weight is 3220lb. 349hp, 332ft lb tq

Those numbers are run by a pro driver, and most likely are corrected.
Yea, the normal SLK's are slugs. Even the others (SLK 32/43... if the car is an AMG car, then Mercedes drops the 0 off of the end. Ie. SLK 320 - AMG SLK 32) really aren't all that, especially not for the price. My mother is a service manager at a Mercedes dealership, and has been for the past 20 years. I've seen alot of things about the Mercedes' that would surprise you. They are more of a status symbol. None-the-less, it was a good kill putting the yuppie in his place!
