Former Audi LMP1 factory driver Andre Lotterer got his first taste of Porsche's latest 919 Hybrid challenger during testing at Spain's Aragon circuit, and the German appears to be more than content in his new home.
"Already liking my new @Porsche_Team outfit," the three-time Le Mans winner wrote on his Twitter page, and by the looks of the images shared by Porsche Motorsport from the test, Lotterer has wasted no time in learning his new mount after years of pacing Audi's diesel LMP1 program.

With the switch to Audi's sister brand after the Volkswagen Audi Group scuttled the Four Rings' Le Mans effort after 18 years and 13 wins at the great 24-hour race, Lotterer has become the sole representative from Audi Sport to make a successful transition to Porsche's championship-winning LMP1 effort.
It has been a busy offseason of driver shuffling for Porsche after claiming its second consecutive World Endurance Championship LMP1 hybrid title and back-to-back Le Mans victories with the 919. The retirement of Mark Webber and reallocation of Romain Dumas and Marc Lieb to other areas within the brand's motorsports activities opened the door for Lotterer and Nick Tandy, who won Le Mans for Porsche in 2015 to move into the No. 1 919 Hybrid with defending P1 champion Neel Jani.
The No. 2 919, featuring 2015 WEC champions Timo Bernhard and Brendan Hartley, will welcome Tandy's Le Mans-winning co-driver Earl Bamber into Webber's former seat.
Although more manufacturers appear to be headed for the WEC's privateer LMP1 class, it's premier P1 Hybrid category is only slated to feature two season-long entries from Porsche and two from Toyota after Audi's exit.
